An absolute gem of a fine dining establishment. Me and two other gentlemen enjoyed a mountain of food that was all with incredibly fresh food that was cooked to perfection. We got the seafood tower which gave us a great indication that the food was going to be amazing. The soup of the night was delicious and so were the dishes we got.

We visited Lemon Grass during Syracuse Restaurant Week and had a great experience overall. It was definitely busy, so service was a bit slow and our server wasn’t super attentive—but honestly, the food made up for it.
Everything we tried was amazing. You can tell the ingredients and presentation are high quality, and the flavors were bold and fresh. Since it’s normally a pricier, upscale spot, Restaurant Week was the perfect time to try it without breaking the bank.
I’d absolutely come back for the full experience on a quieter night!

Not your average Thai restaurant but still good. It’s definitely a bit more upscale compared to others. The boiled dumplings were savory and draped with a flavorful sauce. The fried whole fish was cooked well and tasted amazing with this spicy chili sauce. More

Being a long time resident of Syracuse, I'd always heard of Lemon Grass but never had the opportunity to eat here until today.
The service was very personable at the bar where I sat. Bartenders were very noticeable and assisted when needed. I got the swordfish and kanpachi sashimi alongside the Pink Tonic mocktail. It was divine! The sides paired with the swordfish was beautiful as well.
For dessert, I got the black sticky rice with mango. Creamy, warm, not too sweet - it was the perfect dessert to finish my meal today. Thank you to the bartenders who took care of me for my meal and hope to come again soon.

The drinks were delicious. And the service was nice.
The salmon sashimi was really good. The curry was a little salty and the Chive Pancakes were drenched in sauce. It was a bit much. But other than that it was a nice experience.

Very good restaurant for a fine dining experience with great vibes and music. Great staff and also quick service. But here are some suggestions hopefully we can work on the next time we visit.
1: As an asian and always exploring restaurants, the rice that came out from the kitchen is totally disappointing. Overcooked and very squishy.
With asian cuisine, white rice is one of the most essential important that helps to elevate the dish to its truly taste. The rice here need to be checked on. We asked for 3 bowls of rice, they all have the same problem.
2: Tamarind sauce is not using organic tamarind as Thai’s style. Food with Tamarind should be a bit thicker and cant be liquid soupy. Taste was loose.
3: Pad Thai is 100% need to be checked by a real Thai chef. The noodle was WAY too over ooked. Pad Thai difference with Spaghetti, because padthai need to have that chewyness and the hardness of the noodle should be elasticity instead of breakings into small pieces apart.
For the price of $200 for appetizer and 3 entrees + drinks. This is not recommended
Again, this is based on Asian’s taste and point of view. Will edit this review once i get to retrying it

My wife and I took advantage of the start of Downtown Dining Week 2024 and enjoyed a 3-course meal at Lemon Grass, and overall had a great experience. The value you get during dining week is excellent, but I can't speak to their standard prices. That said, everything we had was delicious and as much a joy for the eyes as they were for our taste buds.
We went on a Saturday night (again, during Dining Week), so the restaurant was completely full, and the entire service staff was constantly busy. In spite of that, our waters were constantly refilled throughout the night, and our food came out in a very timely fashion - we never felt like the meal was lasting too long. When we finished our meal, our waitress even let us know that we were more than welcome to hang out at our table to watch the end of the Syracuse basketball game, which while we didn't take her up on it, spoke to the hospitality of the staff. My only (minor) complaint was that it was rather loud in the first dining area, but that's too be expected on a busy Saturday night in the room that includes the bar seating.
The food, as always, was outstanding. Each dish had an impressive depth and nuance of flavor that made each bite exciting. The highlight for us was the Green Curry Beef - the cinnamon basil and Thai chili curry sauce was to die for, with a perfect amount of heat so as to not overpower and take away from the intended flavor itself. Lastly, a pro-tip: do NOT skip out on dessert here. Every option is hand-crafted into a beautiful presentation, and the flavors themselves live up to their appearance. Kudos to the pastry chef for continuing to do a great job.

Lemon Grass Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, elevated by its highly professional and knowledgeable staff. The individual who took our order demonstrated remarkable expertise, sharing fascinating stories behind each dish and offering insightful recommendations with warmth and intelligence. His guidance led us to some of the finest selections on the menu, including an exquisite fish as main and tart that stood out as a highlight among the desserts. Every element of the meal was thoughtfully curated, and the wine pairing, suggested by the staff, complemented our dishes perfectly. The combination of outstanding service, refined flavors, and an inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening.

Had a splendid dinner here last week! The interior is very inviting and much larger than expected coming in from the street. We were here during restaurant week, so I went with the special prix frix. I started with the clam chowder soup. It was hot and delicious. Perfect heat on an othewise chilly night in Syracuse. For the main course, I thoroughly enjoyed the Bangkok Beef. It was very flavorful and bursting with texture. I would have this again a thousand times! It was so good! I washed this all down with some local brews, and none disappointed. Good selection of beers overall. From the time we walked in, the staff was friendly, expedient, and helpful! Will definitely be back when in town.

This place is a GEM! One of the top ten dining experiences of my life. Everything from the wine list to the service to the food to the ambiance was 10/10. Dined on the oysters, sashimi, NY strip, curry special (can’t remember the name) and two desserts. It truly is an existential treat for your pallet. Ethan and Billy are top notch when it comes to service and detail. I will forever be coming back here.

This was our first time eating here, and we had mixed results. The server we had was attentive only until we placed our order, at which point he largely abandoned us. I planned to order a second cocktail and dessert, but after waiting at least fifteen minutes past completing our meals without seeing him, we didn’t want to risk being trapped in the restaurant even longer in case he disappeared again. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the other staff here, however. Our drinks were refilled, our plates were taken away, and our food boxed up, but all of this was done by supporting staff, not our server.
The food was delicious. We had the shrimp dumplings, which were cooked perfectly and we loved every bite. For our entrees we had the duck and braised short rib panang curry. No complaints, both of these entrees were wonderful. So tender and flavorful, loved every bite.
The ambiance inside the restaurant is very nice- between the cozy lighting, interesting art to look at, and the soft live music. We will likely return, but to say the service was lacking at this particular night would be the honest truth.

Lemongrass has always been exceptional and one of my go-to favorites, and it never disappoints. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The ambiance is warm and elevated, perfect for any occasion. This time, I had the Lobster Khao Soi, and it was next level. It was rich, comforting, and truly unforgettable. The attention to detail is clear from presentation to taste. Hands down, one of the best spots around.
